Bay Area Quality Management System - National Core Indicators Survey Results
The following reports were prepared by Human Services Research Institute. They are the final products of a component of the Quality Assurance Grant from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), aimed at piloting assessment tools to measure consumer and family satisfaction.
The reports analyze results from three different National Core Indicators (NCI) surveys. The survey was administered in 2005 to a randomly-selected sample of Medicaid Waiver recipients across the three Bay Area Regional Centers (individuals who already were living in the community that did not transition from Agnews Developmental Center). These reports give the reader a point in time snapshot of consumer and family satisfaction and contain key positive findings and opportunities for improvement. The reports also provide comparison to national average NCI survey results.
The Executive Summary integrates results from all three surveys and describes key findings by topic area. The purpose of the summary is to provide a brief overview of results contained in the full reports. Readers are encouraged to review the individual reports, which provide a complete picture of the findings.
