Mission, Vision and Values

Mission Statement:

Agnews Developmental Center provides quality care and services to person with developmental disabilities, ensuring for each person: HEALTH, SAFETY, and INDEPENDENCE.

Vision:

To be an organization that provides state of the art services that are focused on the needs, preferences and dreams of the people we serve. In a way that develops the best in all people associated with ADC, achieving success through unity, determination, empowerment and teamwork. So that ADC, in partnership with Regional Centers, families, and other stakeholders provide needed supports to ensure each individual's wellness, safety, and opportunities for choice, personal growth and development. Each individual's quality of life will be enhanced to enable them to participate fully in community life.

Values:

Our values influence all that we do. They represent the heart of our work and our accomplishments. Our guiding principles serve as compasses, ensuring the daily decision we make and planning we do remain consistent with our Vision, Mission and Values.

• WELLNESS, SAFETY & SECURITY: Our health and sense of security is foundational. We give priority to assuring that each person who is part of the Agnews community can count on a setting where their physical and mental wellness is promoted and their safety is assured.
